Imagine a 21st century Marvin Gaye, inspired by the "Mezzanine" Massive Attack era,  fused with austere dub of Burial, and the intensity of Tricky´s "Maxinquaye", throw in some Siouxsie and the Banshees & Beach Boys samples and you have one of musics most exciting new propositions.

Little is known of The Weeknd... they hail from Toronto and are fronted by 21 year old Abel Tesfaye and have released two exceptional albums this year with a 3rd scheduled to drop before year end.
